I did make a suggestion in the long long new thread we have Razz

but here might be a good place to push it. So that people get to know each other better (new and old members) maybe it might be a good idea to get everyone in the club to introduce themselves and talk a little bit about who they are and what they do/interests, say perhaps after the dinner break and get people to go up the front and all, this way it'll be easier for everyone to know exactly whos who and who has similar interests, etc.

but it is a nice idea to get to know each new batch of people i guess...

I'm Maggie, ex-Deakin student, currently doing my Master's at Monash. I am slightly sporadic in coming, but I do like that dragon anime

from the perspective of a new member, yes please!!
i still have a lot of difficulty matching names and faces, let alone usernames and faces. heck, tbh half the time i'm talking to people without knowing who they are... =(

krystal_tears, did you pass by the booth on Sunday??? I swear you did, but I have a vague memory of you smiling at us and then moving on... otherwise it was just a random nice pretty blonde girl who did that... *aiya* silly memory...
Anyhow, this has totally stemmed from what we talked about on Sunday too Very Happy

I reckon no topic about DAC was safe that day with Drac, Meg and I... everything from Hentai, Yaoi, Movies, Cosplay, Gap Dance, bashing fan girls... well we talked about a lot anyway... so I am all for this Very Happy

i went past the booth several times.. but i'm not sure if i fit the description of 'nice pretty blonde girl' aha i'm sure phil would contest my niceness =P
LOL that is a HUGE range of topics, but all are fun conversation =P especially if the yaoi involves phil wearing a dress =P
